I’m running a bit late today…
Actually, I’ve been at The Transformation Club all morning…just filling in as a coach today so I’m just sitting down to write my newsletter now.
But, here’s the thing:
- I made a commitment to myself that I’d write a daily (weekdays) newsletter. Well, Janell does her Recipe of the Week on Friday…but, I do write another newsletter for my business coaching clients on Fridays so I do write daily.
- If my newsletter helps you in the slightest way to have a better day (education/motivation/inspiration) than it’s worth making sure I get it to you each day.
The commitment to myself is a BIG DEAL!
Sadly, I don’t think most people take commitments to themselves very seriously. They’ll often follow through on commitments they make for others, but always seem to fall short on their own…
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve certainly fallen short on some of my personal goals/commitments. I’m FAR from perfect. But, I’m working on it…and my newsletter is one that I’ve made part of my daily “minimums” – in other words, it would take a something BIG for me to miss it.
I also really enjoy writing my newsletter…and I LOVE the replies I get!
Making your day better in some way is also a pretty BIG DEAL to me!
I actually have a Purpose Statement (it’s taped to my computer so I read it daily) that goes like this:
I use my knowledge, experience and awareness to educate, motivate, and inspire hard-working people who are willing to Have Faith & Take Action to achieve a level of success they previously only dreamed of.
Now, some might say that’s cheesy…
Well, that’s none of my concern.
My purpose is why I get out of bed every day and come to work. When I’m living in harmony with my purpose life just goes way better.
So, what’s the education, motivation and/or inspiration for you today?
You tell me…
What are some of the things that you’re absolutely committed to on a daily basis?
What’s your purpose? Have you ever stopped to consider why YOU were put here?
I can promise you this (from experience)…
When you get clear on those things life gets a lot better…and more fun.
HAVE FAITH & TAKE ACTION!
Justin Yule
