Which would you rather?

So, we’re nine days into the New Year … How’s it going?

 

Are you feeling the momentum or are you still getting in gear?

 

Well, either way, there’s still a long way to go…

 

So, don’t get cocky if you’re rolling strong (although you should feel good about it) and don’t give up if you haven’t even started yet.

 

This brings me to my question…

 

Which would you rather in 2019?

 

Option A

Go all in, guns a blazing, give it everything you’ve got to get really awesome results in the next four to six weeks … only to cause burnout and no real habits developed so that you end up right back where you started before summer hits.

 

Option B

Take a proven, slower and more methodical, not quite as sexy approach to achieving your goals so that you develop the necessary habits you need to sustain and build upon your results for the rest of your life

 

Me?

 

In the past, I got caught up in Option A.  

 

Quick, big results are thrilling!  I love the rush. 🙂

 

But, the crash from the high is just too hard. 🙁

 

Now, I’ll take option B every time.

 

I’m doing that with all my goals, in each area of my life, this year.  And, I’m really focusing on developing the habits, skills, and mindset I need to achieve them.

 

My new daily planner is helping me a lot with that.  I’m going back to analog – good old pencil and paper.  Although, I still use my Google Calendar for scheduling – that’s a must for me.

 

Actually, I’m also using an app to track and stay accountable to my fitness habits.  It’s the same app that comes with The Transformation Project, which, by the way, is all about developing the habits, skills, and mindset you need to achieve your weight loss and fitness goals … AND SUSTAIN THEM.

 

Just like with any solid approach to goal achievement, when you participate in The Transformation Project, in the end, you’ll come away with the know-how and confidence that you can stick with and enjoy your success.  Oh, and during The Project, you’ll lose a bunch of that unwanted weight, too! 😉

 

So, back to my question…

 

How are you approaching your goals this year?  A or B.
