When to follow the crowd

There are a lot of inspirational quotes about not following the crowd…

“Those who follow the crowd usually get lost in it.” – Anonymous

“Make yourselves sheep and the wolves will eat you.” Benjamin Franklin

Here’s one from one of my favorite mentors:

“Chances are, if you are following the crowd, you’re following the wrong path.” Bob Proctor

And, there are so many more…

BUT, is there ever a time when following the crowd is the smart thing to do?

I’m going to say YES.

However, this crowd will likely be a small one…

I tell this to people all the time as both a fitness coach and a business coach:

“Look for people who have done or are doing the thing that you want to do. ‘Plug in’ to that group. Do what they’re doing. ‘Follow the damn instructions.’ Ultimately you’ll achieve a similar success.”

I see it all the time in the business masterminds I’m part of, as well as run. I also see it constantly at The Transformation Club with our 6-week 20-pound Transformation Challenge and other programs…

There are proven programs, strategies, systems, and plans that you can follow. There are people that you can follow. And, there are actually some pretty damn good crowds that you can follow…

Of course, as you achieve higher and higher levels of success, know this:

“The person who follows the crowd will get no farther than the crowd.” Another great quote from Bob Proctor.

To me, that simply means be very aware of the crowd you choose to be a part of and be open to “upgrading” when you need to…

I’m pretty confident that if you want to live a happy, healthy, and fit life and ultimately become the BEST version of YOU … we’ve got a heck of a crowd/community over at The Transformation Club. 🙂

I invite you to PLUG IN!
