Which is easier for you?

I recently conducted a survey asking, Which is easier for you…

  • Losing weight
  • Keeping it off

The vast majority of responses were definitely “losing weight is easier.”
But, if you do struggle with that, here’s some quick, certainly self-promotional advice. ;-b…
Join a proven program like we have at The Transformation Club!
Now, as far as maintaining weight loss…
Well, first, don’t stop doing said program!  ;-b
Now, assuming you’re doing that, why can it still be hard to maintain weight loss?
Simple.  We’re human.  Life happens and old habits creep in…
For example, it’s pretty easy for excess sugar to sneak back into your weekly/daily nutrition.  After all, it’s basically a drug and has been shown to be more addictive than cocaine or heroin!
By the way, Janell’s 21-Day Detox Challenge is  one of the best ways to get back on the wagon.
When it comes to maintenance we also have to keep non-food things in mind like sleep and stress…
Life is dynamic.  We go through ups and downs, good times and bad – although, those are actually labels we create, but that’s another conversation…
We MUST recognize the role the different seasons in our life (and actual seasons – think Seasonal Affective Disorder) play.
Sometimes you can be doing everything “right” and still struggle with weight loss and/or maintenance…
That’s when you need to remember – “this too shall pass.”
And, something I’ve been reminded of recently is that this applies to the “bad” times and the “good” times…
So, in the end, it really all comes down to practice.
What are you practicing daily?
Are you getting in your daily dose of good nutrition, enough sleep, proper exercise, good supplements, and stress management?
Like I told many people in responses yesterday,
Focus on the BEHAVIORS that lead to the OUTCOME…
When we put all of our attention into the outcome (our weight) we become frustrated when the results don’t come the way we want them to (or think they should) so we end up ditching the behaviors that will ultimately get us there…
Make sense?
